Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. This role develops and maintains complex schedule and cost baselines, analyzes monthly data, and assists in root-cause analysis while ensuring risk reserves are integrated into forecasts.

The incumbent will prepare standardized reports for stakeholders, implement financial controls, and collaborate with project teams and management to maintain schedule integrity and project profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Prepare and analyze earned value reports for projects.
• Support adherence to internal procedures and contract requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff and supervise on project work.
• Communicate cost and schedule status to management and clients.
