Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. This role develops and maintains moderately to highly complex schedule and cost baselines, collects monthly data, conducts variance analysis, and supports forecasting and risk reserves.

You will collaborate with project teams and management, ensure compliance with procedures, and provide guidance to junior staff while delivering accurate reports to stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates costs.
• Maintains integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Generates earned value reports and performs portfolio analysis.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Performs risk and profit/loss analyses and prepares reports.
