Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining cost and schedule baselines, analyzing variances, and integrating risk reserves into forecasts.

You will work with project teams, manage earned value reporting, and contribute to financial analyses, with opportunities for international project exposure and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and update project data for moderate to high complexity.
• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and perform portfolio analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
• Perform financial analyses including variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses.
