Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. The role focuses on developing schedule and cost baselines, analyzing monthly data, and assuring accurate forecasts with risk reserves integrated into financial plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong Earned Value Management experience, proficient Primavera P6 skills, and ability to collaborate with project teams across locations, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with project controls for moderate to high complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains time-phased schedule baselines and cost baselines for projects.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses findings with project managers.
• Performs financial analyses including variance, risk and profit/loss analyses.
• Documents changes to cost/schedule baselines and assesses impacts.
