Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across multiple locations in the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, and ensure risk reserves are integrated into forecasts.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodology including budget development, project planning and control.
• Extensive understanding of project finance, accounting or business administration.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings and specs for schedule and cost baselines.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates costs and updates requirements.
• Monitors progress, performs variance analyses and prepares reports for stakeholders.
• Maintains integrated schedules and conducts earned value management across programs.
• Provides guidance and mentorship to junior staff and may supervise engineers.
