HukariAscendent is seeking a Principal Business Analyst/Estimator – Project Controls for a 1-year engagement at a DOE site in the United States. The role focuses on project controls, estimating, and scheduling support for the NNSA Capital Projects initiative, with ongoing option periods at management discretion.

You will develop and maintain cost baselines, schedules, and change management processes, while performing financial analyses and preparing reports to guide decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant practical experience; Bachelor’s with 7 years; or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, or project management
• 5 years of experience in the subject matter expertise area
• Proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating tools
• Practical experience with Site Business systems
• Broad knowledge of project management and cost/schedule control at the tactical level
• Ability to review work for completeness per project specs and scope
• Strong problem solving, analysis, and communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Responsabilités

• Develop cost and schedule baselines, milestone schedules, WBS, and spend plans
• Perform project cost reviews and schedule meetings; manage change system
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule and present mitigation plans
• Define requirements and develop models for complex business systems; oversee system enhancements
• Translate higher management concepts into operating plans and actions
