Job summary

PWMG is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and performance reporting on a large-scale data centre construction project in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, CPM knowledge, and strong leadership to manage budgets and risk on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project controls, planning or cost management within construction or engineering.
• Proven experience managing integrated project schedules, cost controls and financial forecasts.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of CPM, earned value management and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish and maintain baseline schedules, critical path analysis and project milestones.
• Monitor progress against planned activities, identifying delays and potential risks.
• Coordinate with construction managers, superintendents, subcontractors and engineers to ensure schedule updates.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and support schedule recovery planning.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking and forecasting.
• Produce weekly and monthly controls reports on schedule, cost and risk.
• Develop project dashboards and provide visibility of performance.
