Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Senior Project Control Specialist in Washington. This role manages cost, schedule, and change control for capital projects, reporting in a matrix environment with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of project controls, Primavera P3(P3e), cost estimating, and scheduling, and will be the system owner for project control tools while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in project controls on large design/construct projects.
• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid WA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and changes to meet quality guidelines and helps project managers to make necessary adjustments.
• Provides project controls support for PSE projects including WBS, schedule development, status reporting, and cost/schedule changes.
• Assumes the role of project control systems expert and owner for assigned systems, training staff in their use, and developing procedures.
• Monitors project schedules to ensure compliance with procedures and specifications.
• Makes recommendations on schedule issues to management.
• Negotiates proposed changes with field personnel and contractors; directs change orders and executes within agency guidelines; prepares cash flow analyses.
