Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Project Control Specialist to lead cost, schedule and change management for capital projects. You will develop conceptual and detailed schedules, support project managers, and operate in a matrix environment with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, adherence to procedures, and rigorous reporting. You will own project control systems, train staff, and generate cash flow analyses while negotiating changes with field

Qualifications

Advanced skills with Primavera P3; cost analysis and reporting on large design-construct projects.
BS degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering; relevant experience may substitute.
Valid WA driver's license required and 7+ years of project controls experience.

Responsibilities

Reviews project plans, schedules, cost estimates and changes to ensure quality.
Provides project controls support including WBS, schedules, status reporting, changes.
Leads training on project control systems and develops procedures for systems.
Monitors schedules for compliance with procedures, specs, and reporting.
Negotiates work and schedule changes with field personnel and contractors.
Manages change orders, cash flow analysis, and cost/schedule alternatives.
