Job summary

North Wind Group is seeking a Project Controls Engineer III to manage scheduling, cost control, and EVM for environmental projects across multiple sites including Knoxville. You will work with field teams, project managers, and craft teams to align installed work with schedule and budget.

Requires 8-10+ years of project controls experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, with ability to obtain government clearance. Travel 0-25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in a related field.
• 8–10+ years of project controls experience on environmental/construction/engineering projects.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) and EVMS processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor and control project costs including labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Analyze schedule variances and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Prepare cost forecasts, EAC/ETC, and manage change logs.
• Coordinate data with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
