Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Engineer to support major capital projects in the energy sector. You will develop integrated schedules and manage budgets, while driving risk management and reporting to leadership.

The role emphasizes advanced scheduling, robust cost control and a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach to ensure delivery on time, on budget and to quality standards in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Significant Project Controls experience with emphasis on planning, scheduling and cost management.
• Experience on major capital projects in energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or utilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Experience creating budgets, cost forecasts and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of WBS/CBS and project control methodologies.
• Ability to integrate contractor schedules into master plans.
• Experience with EVM and risk/change control processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans and forecasts; monitor commitments and changes.
• Produce weekly/monthly dashboards and performance reports.
• Integrate schedule, cost, risk and change information for full project visibility.
• Support risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients.
