Job summary

Aegis Project Controls is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer for our data center practice to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems. You will collaborate with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to drive project success.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project controls, 2+ years in data centers, and strong Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within the vertical construction industry.
• Two or more years of experience in project controls for data centers.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 (see tools).
• Ability to interpret construction documents accurately.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing construction project schedules for data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor construction CPM Schedules.
• Review project documents and specifications to develop baseline schedules.
• Perform progress schedule updates with reporting and narratives.
• Review schedules and advise on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses and identify schedule issues.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting.
• Review contractor progress and present to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks for the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risks within schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and stakeholders.
