Aegis seeks a Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support services to our clients. This role will develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project’s life cycle.

You will work with a team of professionals, including client project managers, construction professionals, and project stakeholders, to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will collaborate with client project managers and field teams; travel to site locations within the

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling in vertical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waived with 5+ years experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and interpretation of construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Experience developing schedules for projects over $100M.
• Cost and resource management and reporting, familiarity with scheduling contracts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP certification(s) preferred; travel to site locations regionally.

Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM schedules.
• Review project documents and specs to develop baseline schedules with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates with comprehensive reporting & narratives.
• Review schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Perform critical path analyses, identify problems, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Review contractor progress and present to management for decision making.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting; identify risks and impacts.
