Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a Project Controls Specialist IV – Data Analytics & Reporting to advance, standardize, and govern project controls data across large projects. You will build and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting environments to improve decision-making and operational visibility.

Location is flexible within Granite and remote work is supported. You will collaborate with project controls, IT, and operations to ensure data accuracy, governance, and effective reporting,

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in a related position.
• Proven experience building PowerBI dashboards including DAX and intuitive information formats.
• Experience with ACC, Primavera P6, and Job Cost systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Power BI workspaces, dashboards, and reporting environments.
• Collaborate with project controls teams to develop dashboards, trend analysis, predictive analytics, and decision-support reporting.
• Work with IT to connect source systems, map APIs, and maintain data structures within the ODS.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata references, lineage documentation, and BI governance artifacts.
• Lead report testing, validation, and internal documentation reviews prior to release.
• Train users on dashboard interpretation, configuration, and best practices.
