Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Project Controls professional to develop cost analyses and schedules, coordinate budgeting, and support lifecycle execution of capital projects. You will mentor stakeholders, ensure accurate reporting, and drive SAP-like SOX controls within a dynamic utility environment.

The role requires extensive experience in cost control, scheduling, and financial reporting, with strong collaboration across project managers and functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in construction management, business, finance or technical field.
• Minimum of five (5) years related project controls experience.
• Expert level knowledge of cost control, estimating, scheduling and reporting for projects.
• Proficient in cost estimating software and scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures and financial obligations that would apply to projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze cost analysis reports and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to assemble budget and forecast data.
• Assist in initial project setup in the Work and Asset Management System.
• Advise on financial work breakdown structure development and reporting.
• Support integration of cost and schedule data across systems.
