Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Project Controls Analyst II to support Belton, TX project operations with advanced cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting. This role partners with project teams to identify risks and opportunities and ensure budgets and timelines are met.

The ideal candidate will understand project controls principles, construction operations, and cost management, and may mentor junior staff on moderately complex projects while working independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years in project controls, cost control, project accounting or related field, preferably in construction.
• 2-4 years in heavy civil construction environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting, scheduling and performance reporting.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and provide actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets from estimates and allocate costs.
• Lead project setup activities including budgeting and baseline establishment.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules across all phases.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts, commitments, expenditures and change management.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and progress to identify risks and impacts.
• Review timesheets, invoices, and cost coding for accurate reporting.
• Prepare cost, schedule, productivity, and KPI analyses for management.
