Job summary

GEA Group in the United States seeks a Senior Project Controller to lead financial oversight of major projects within NAM. You will build trusted relationships with leaders and business partners to ensure sound financial decisions.

You will own project activities from budget creation to performance analysis, manage risk and cash flow, coordinate intercompany accounting, and drive reporting improvements through automation and better data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in finance, accounting or audit.
• Minimum of 2 years of FP&A responsibility with actionable reporting.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence Senior Management.
• ERP/Financial Systems proficiency and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish constructive close working relationships with the NAM Leaders and Key Business Partners.
• Own project activities: reviews per global guidance, risk tracking, WBS accuracy, and performance analysis.
• Ensure comprehensive budgets (including change orders), cost recognition and estimates updated in ERP.
• Maintain accuracy of reported financials including gross margin, billing, receivables, cost to complete, and contingencies.
• Coordinate with intercompany partners for timely revenue recognition and completion percentages.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, data modeling, and enhanced reporting.
