Job summary

BEUMER Group, based in Somerset, NJ, is a global leader in intralogistics solutions. We seek a Project Controller to partner with Project Managers on commercial and financial aspects, interfacing with Finance, Sales, Engineering, Site Integration, and Procurement.

The role emphasizes controlling costs, forecasts, monthly reporting, and audit support, with travel to project sites. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of construction and/or commercial, project-based accounting experience.
• Power user of MS Excel.
• Advanced user of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Superior analytical skills and detail orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Team player who is self-driven and goal oriented.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute project performance controlling: costs, revenue, cash flow, margin; re-calc forecasts and variances.
• Support Finance to ensure accurate booking of project financials and month-end close.
• Handle invoicing, receivables monitoring, and supplier invoices follow-up.
• Prepare monthly reports and forecasts for projects for management.
• Assist Sales/Tendering during offers: risk identification and contract negotiation.
• Support taxes, insurance, contracts, licenses, payroll, bonds, hedging for projects.
• Assist audits and year-end activities with Finance and client audits.
• Maintain BEUMER Project Management data: proposals, milestones, budgets.
• Coordinate with departments to avoid conflicts on critical dates.
• Ensure timely and accurate project information for the team.
