Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist in the United States, focused on advanced project controls, financial forecasting, reporting, and data analytics for a portfolio of large utility infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in capital project controls, cost forecasting, EVM, financial reporting, and BI tools to improve forecast accuracy and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, Project Forecasting, or Financial Analysis.
• Experience supporting utility, transmission, infrastructure, EPC, or other large-scale capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost forecasts and Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) projections.
• Perform variance analysis and forecast reconciliation against budgets and actual project performance.
• Support capital expenditure (CapEx) forecasting for large-scale transmission and infrastructure projects.
• Analyze financial data within Oracle Fusion to monitor project performance and financial health.
• Create executive-level reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking using Power BI and Excel.
• Develop automated reporting solutions utilizing Power Query and other reporting tools.
• Monitor project cost, schedule, and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and performance reporting.
• Assist with project budget management, financial planning, and cost control activities.
• Maintain project controls databases while ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Partner with Project Managers, Project Controls, and Finance teams to support project planning and decision-making.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to forecasting methodologies, reporting processes, and project controls best practices.
