Job summary

Luminis Workforce Solutions is seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee cost management for a portfolio of capital projects in the energy sector. You will focus on budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, and EVM to drive visibility and predictability in project delivery.

You will partner with project managers and senior leaders to optimize financial performance and ensure successful outcomes on high-value programs. This is a senior, visible role within the project delivery team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Controls experience in energy/power/utilities/industrial sectors.
• Strong background in cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting.
• Experience supporting major capital projects in EPC, EPCM, contractor, or owner environments.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.

This role is heavily focused on the cost side of project controls, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, earned value management, and financial performance analysis. Working closely with project managers and leadership teams, you will help drive project visibility, predictability, and successful outcomes.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Controls experience within the energy, power, utilities, renewables, or industrial sectors
• Strong background in cost control, cost forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting
• Experience supporting major capital projects in EPC, EPCM, contractor, or owner environments
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies
• Proficiency with tools such as EcoSys, SAP, Oracle, Primavera P6, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
