Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Superintendent in the Building Group to lead all aspects of a project's execution, including planning, resource allocation, schedules, and budgets. You will champion safety, quality and workforce development while coordinating with field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.

This leadership role requires travel and relocation as needed, with focus on delivering programs on time and within cost.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in the construction industry with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role
• Experience in vertical building setting
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and engineering drawings
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance
• Strong work ethic and ethic integrity
• Passion for safety and avoiding injuries
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel and manage productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence
• Act as liaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure drawings and specs compliance
• Coordinate with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit staff to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
• Resolve employee conflicts and scheduling difficulties and inform management as appropriate
• Assist in schedule planning, determine craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Ensure safety, attendance, and workplace behavior policies are followed
