Job summary

Scout Motors is seeking an experienced purchasing leader to drive large vehicle programs from early concept through launch. You will partner with R&D, Finance, and Operations to optimize costs, localization, and supplier readiness across multiple programs.

Expect a high-pace environment with cross-functional teamwork, 8+ years in buying/procurement, and a base salary in the six figures with annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Purchasing, Project Buying, Procurement, Supplier Management, Program Management, or Automotive Operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering Field.
• Strong cost analysis, negotiation and business acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large vehicle project deliverables from the Purchasing organization.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Quality Assurance, and Project Buying to optimize financial results and localization.
• Lead project coordination for assigned vehicle derivatives during implementation.
• Support sourcing strategies, cost targets, supplier readiness, and launch execution.
• Provide guidance on complex sourcing and cost management; report status to leadership.
