Job summary

Russo Development and Russo Property Management seeks a Project Manager - Architecture to join our in-house design team in Carlstadt, NJ. You will manage design consultants across architecture, MEP, structural, interior design and landscape architects for mix-use, industrial, and data center projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Architecture and 7+ years of experience, strong managerial and organizational skills, and proficiency with SketchUp and Adobe suite to develop elevation concepts,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Architecture or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in design and construction coordination for large mixed-use projects and industrial warehousing.
• Proficient in SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for building elevation concepts.
• Strong site planning and building design capabilities.
• Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication; able to work in a collaborative team.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process for mix-use or industrial/data center warehousing projects.
• Oversee external consultants (architectural, MEP, structural, interior, landscape) coordination.
• Review and coordinate drawings; keep the design schedule on track.
• Develop conceptual building designs using SketchUp modeling for owner approval.
• Collaborate with design team on site planning and site design.
• Ensure compliance with code standards (IBC, accessibility, energy codes).
• Assist construction team with problem solving, value engineering, and submittals.
