Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead design development, drawings, and construction documentation on large, complex projects. The role requires coordinating multiple disciplines, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality control within Ghafari’s architectural standards.

You will participate in in-house construction administration, respond to RFIs, and oversee project planning and budgeting while aligning with company processes in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 25+ years related architecture experience.
• NCARB certificate is required.
• Registration as Architect and LEED/WELL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design work and construction documents.
• Coordinate disciplines and manage large, complex teams.
• Mentor staff and ensure quality control on drawings.
• Support project managers with schedule, budget, and changes.
• Oversee in-house construction administration and RFI responses.
• Coordinate BIM and point cloud workflows per standards.
