Job summary

Hoefer Welker is seeking an Architect Level III with 8+ years of experience to manage and deliver building projects through a proactive delivery process, collaborating with in-house staff and external AEC team members.

The role covers schematic design through construction, review of shop drawings, coordination of consultants, and production of project documents. NCARB registration and LEED Green Associate are desired qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office; Deltek and Vantagepoint knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to work well in a team and meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with the ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff within a collaborative project team environment.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and owners across all project phases.
• Focus on client satisfaction and future service opportunities.
• Coordinate project personnel to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; direct production of drawings.
• Lead design development through construction documents.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist with permit processes.
• Serve as SME on specialized systems and liaise with stakeholders.
