Job summary

DGA is seeking a Senior Project Architect in the United States for a high-visibility, multi-disciplinary role. You will lead design teams, align client vision with construction execution, and drive project profitability while mentoring junior architects in a collaborative studio.

Responsibilities span coordination, technical guidance, documentation, and on-site oversight through permitting and construction. Strong leadership and hands-on design development are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience as a technical project architect.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; licensed architect.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe CC, MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination with full documentation coordination.
• Coordinate communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex design challenges.
• Maintain the project manual and specifications.
• Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews.
• Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests during construction.
• Interface with authorities during permitting and construction phases.
• Detail all types of commercial construction for buildings and interiors.
• Direct a team and coordinate assignments; manage contracts and project scope.
