Job summary

Humphreys & Partners Architects is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead design development and construction document phases for increasingly complex multifamily projects in California. You will coordinate teams, ensure code compliance, and guide junior staff while communicating with clients and consultants.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, licensure as an Architect, NCARB preferred, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and building codes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with NCARB certification is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture, especially multifamily.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and ordinances; experience with complex code issues.
• Familiarity with AIA contract language and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the completion of design and construction documents for complex projects under the Project Manager.
• Research applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with project team to ensure complete and accurate contract documents.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Lead project team coordination meetings and communicate with clients and consultants.
