Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
• Architectural license required.
• 8–15+ years of professional experience, preferably including high-end residential or design-focused projects.
• Extensive experience in technical design, design development, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of building systems, construction methods, material selection, and detailing.
• Strong mentoring skills with the ability to support and guide junior staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical development of design and construction documents from concept through construction administration.
• Collaborate with contractors and material suppliers to achieve constructability.
• Coordinate with Job Captains, design staff, and consultants for coordinated delivery.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
• Conduct code and zoning analyses to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate consultant work and integrate engineering systems.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to office standards.
• Lead client and consultant meetings and site observations in CA.
