Job summary

Perkins Eastman is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Project Architect with Construction Administration experience to join our Providence, RI office. You will support Rhode Island K-12 and Higher Education projects, collaborating with a close-knit team across Boston and Stamford to ensure design intent is realized in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction administration, preferably on education projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods and detailing.
• Experience with contract documents and LEED knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with principal and senior leadership.
• Serve as liaison among clients, contractors, and consultants during construction.
• Manage day-to-day construction administration across education projects.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings with design teams.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Prepare punch lists and close-out documentation.
