Job summary

I-Grace is seeking a Senior Project Architect / Designer to lead high-end residential projects from concept through construction. You will manage client relationships, design documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, while mentoring junior staff and aligning with the NY studio.

The role is based in California (Los Angeles or Santa Barbara) with pre-approved work-from-home flexibility. Ideal candidates have 10-15 years of residential experience, a professional architecture degree,

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of professional experience in residential projects (single-family, condo, or multi-family).
• Licensed in California and NCARB Certified.
• Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, approvals, and construction administration.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and design documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of luxury residential projects from concept to construction administration.
• Develop and promote project opportunities and grow client relationships in California.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align goals and approvals.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project teams to maintain design excellence.
• Prepare and review fee proposals, work plans, and project budgets.
