Job summary

gpac is assisting a Milwaukee, WI design-build firm in finding a Project Architect. You will lead projects from Schematic Design to Construction Administration across sectors like corporate workplaces, government, healthcare, and education, coordinating with consultants and owners.

The ideal candidate has 5–12+ years of experience, a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, and strong Revit skills, with proven leadership and client-facing abilities. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Licensed professional (or soon to be licensed) with a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture.
• Strong design, technical, code, and detailing skills.
• Experience leading a project team and client presentations.
• Proactive written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
• Coordinate with consultants/engineers and engage with owners.
• Define project requirements and develop design criteria.
• Scheduling, estimates, budget, planning to complete projects—drawings, models, images, material, etc.
• Use software to design, sketch and provide drawings of proposed projects.
• Professional client development skills.
• Leadership skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
