Job summary

Jobot, a Milwaukee-based interdisciplinary architecture studio, is seeking a Project Architect to lead complex projects from concept through construction. The role emphasizes client relationships, coordination with in-house engineers and planners, and delivering integrated design solutions.

Qualifications

5–8 years of professional architecture experience across multiple phases.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural projects through all phases — schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration.
Serve as primary client contact, managing relationships with owners, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with in-house engineering, interior design, and planning disciplines to deliver fully integrated project solutions.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining high design standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff and intern architects.
Contribute to business development efforts including proposals and client relationship building.
Ensure compliance with codes, zoning, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals.
