Job summary

Aspen Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to manage design and production for multi-million-dollar ministry facility projects. You will coordinate consultants, lead client meetings, and supervise the project team through design and documentation.

The role demands strong leadership, mentoring, and keen attention to detail. Office locations in Illinois/Texas with a hybrid schedule; remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited University.
• Registered Architect.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Architecture firm, with 3 years leading projects.
• Experience with church market is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedule, design, and documentation with consultants.
• Direct design team and coordinate with disciplines to ensure feasibility and coordination.
• Mentor project design and development team and support leadership on practice issues.
• Lead zoning and permitting submissions with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure standards and code compliance.
• Attend job sites as needed to monitor progress and document construction changes.
