Role Description

The Architectural Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Seattle, WA, responsible for leading church‑focused design and construction projects from concept through completion. Day‑to‑day work includes coordinating project schedules and deliverables, managing stakeholder communication, and ensuring architectural plans and construction documents align with client goals and applicable codes. This role oversees submittals, reviews drawings and specifications, and collaborates with architects, contractors, and church leadership to maintain project quality, budget, and timelines. The Architectural Project Manager also supports space planning, participates in site visits and progress meetings, and helps integrate ministry and technology needs into practical design solutions.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Architecture and Construction Drawings, including preparing, reviewing, and coordinating design documentation.
  • Experience with Project Coordination and managing submittals, schedules, and communication among multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design practices.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.
  • Experience with church, nonprofit, or community‑focused projects is beneficial, along with familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and project management software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, BIM tools, and scheduling or collaboration platforms).
