Job Title: Senior Project Architect

We are seeking a licensed senior architect to guide our team through project design and document production processes. Our senior architects are true leaders, overseeing and coordinating the entire project design process across multiple projects simultaneously. You will interact with clients daily and be responsible for managing design and document production, achieving client satisfaction, maintaining project schedules, and managing project profitability.

Responsibilities Highlights

• Lead your team in the overall architectural design of projects, utilizing the full resources of the firm.
• Perform project coordination duties including analysis, programming, site analysis, scheduling, and establishing project objectives; coordinate activities of all professional disciplines; identify client expectations regarding quality, cost, and schedule.
• Maintain information flow to the project team; ensure construction documents reflect the contract scope and design intent; review documents periodically for accuracy; coordinate technical information from vendors and owners; conduct building code reviews; review with clients; act as architect of record.
• Meet project design schedules, design fee budgets, and construction budgets.
• Manage project agreements in conjunction with the principal-in-charge.
• Prepare or review construction budgets as required.
• Manage the construction bidding process in competitive scenarios.
• Assist in the education and development of design staff; serve as a resource for design questions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Architect.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience post-licensure, including coordination of multiple projects; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10MM in construction value preferred.
