Job summary

Verto People, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Architect / Project Architect in New York, NY to lead base building projects from concept through construction. You will produce and coordinate technical drawings, align with structural/MEP consultants, and supervise stakeholders from start to finish.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of architectural experience, strong base building knowledge, and proficiency with Revit and BIM 360. Licensure in the US or progress toward it is required.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of architectural experience.
• Strong base building experience is essential.
• Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience with Revit and BIM 360.
• US Architectural License or actively working towards licensure.
• Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and project coordination ability.
• Government project experience is highly desirable.
• Retail project experience is advantageous.

A full-time opportunity is available with an architecture and interior design practice in New York. This role is suited to an experienced architect with strong base building experience, technical delivery capability and the confidence to lead projects from early design through construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver base building projects from concept through construction.
• Produce, review and coordinate technical drawing packages and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and specialist consultants.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
