Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant in San Jose, CA to join our established finance team. This on-site, permanent role offers a base salary of $80,000 to $110,000 and the opportunity to contribute to general ledger, job costing, and month-end close in a project-based services environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a strong working knowledge of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in project-based environments.
• Experience with job costing, % complete revenue recognition, or WIP reporting.
• CPA or CPA licensure is a plus but not required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Perform job costing and WIP reporting responsibilities.
• Assist with revenue recognition and project financials.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations staff.
