Job summary

Rockhill Management, L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Project Accountant in Boston to manage development and construction project accounting. You will serve as the primary liaison to the D&C VPs, oversee budgets, cash flow, and lender draws, and ensure compliance across multiple projects within the Rockpoint portfolio.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting with construction experience, strong Excel proficiency, and experience with Procore and MRI. This position is hybrid in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years accounting experience, including 3+ years in construction or development.
• Proficiency with Excel and project accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accounting lead for all development and construction projects within the assigned portfolio.
• Help establish and reinforce best practices in project accounting controls and procedures.
• Import developers' budgets into Procore and assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating project budgets.
• Track and assist in managing budgets, commitments, invoices, and actual costs across multiple projects.
• Process lender draws and review contractor invoices, change orders, and documentation.
• Prepare monthly or quarterly financial reports and cash flow projections for development projects.
• Leverage Procore and MRI; update WIP reports bi-monthly across all projects.
