Job summary

Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) is seeking a Project Accountant III to provide advanced budget and financial analysis support for contract proposals, project budgets, and organizational planning.

Working with the Budget Manager and Controller, you will develop and maintain proposal budgets, budget-to-actual documents, and financial documentation, using Costpoint, Excel, and Microsoft Copilot to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; MBA a plus.
• 5+ years budgeting, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Ability to present complex budgets clearly and actionably.
• RFP/Procurement experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with advanced formulas and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain budgets, travel estimates, and cost documentation for contracts.
• Review solicitations, contracts, amendments, and related documents for alignment with budgets.
• Assist Budget Manager in proposal narratives, budgets, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and update budget-to-actual documents for projects and organization.
• Monitor financial performance and analyze variances to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain monthly standard company project reports.
• Communicate budget information to project teams and stakeholders; respond to inquiries.
• Utilize Costpoint, Excel, Copilot for budgeting, reporting, and process improvement.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and proposal support.
