** Responsibilities **

• Manage $30-70M dollar projects from an accounting standpoint
• Accurately classify and manage job costs
• Maintain comprehensive documentation to support AIA invoicing and ensure compliance with generally accepted standards.
• Analyze project financials to support revenue recognition, work-in-process (WIP) evaluations, and profitability assessments.
• Prepare and submit reports promptly and with precision
• Ensure subcontractor compliance within contract terms, including insurance, waivers, and billing accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process.
• Work with controller and executive team on presenting findings

**Key Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in project / Job Cost accounting is required
• Strong Excel Skills is required.
• Prior experience with AIA billing is a huge plus
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with all types of professionals including project management, accounting, operations, construction, etc.
• Experience in meeting tight deadlines and thriving under pressure.
