Job summary

Une entreprise leader dans le secteur des soins de santé recherche un Senior Accountant pour gérer ses responsabilités comptables dans un environnement de fabrication. Ce rôle implique la préparation d'états financiers consolidés, la gestion des comptes débiteurs et l'implémentation de nouveaux logiciels comptables. Le candidat idéal aura un Baccalauréat en comptabilité et au moins 5 ans d'expérience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en comptabilité dans un environnement de fabrication.
• Expérience avec les systèmes ERP comme Infor XA.
• Connaissance des taxes d'entreprise est un plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordonner la procédure de clôture de fin de mois et maintenir le grand livre.
• Préparer les états financiers consolidés.
• Gérer et superviser les départements des comptes débiteurs et du crédit.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the month-end closing procedure and maintain the general ledger in a manufacturing and departmental environment.


• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company and two affiliated entities, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.


• Prepare monthly sales tax returns for these entities.


• Manage and oversee the Accounts Receivable and Credit Departments.


• Help to implement new accounting software.


• Reconcile and analyze various general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and any related analysis.


• Manage and support the accounting staff and provide them with accounting advice.


• Other duties may be assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting along with 5+ years' experience in senior level accounting. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of corporate taxes a plus. Experience with Infor XA or similar ERP system is required.
