Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Project Accounting: Oversee full-cycle financial management for multiple active projects simultaneously, ensuring accurate job costing, revenue recognition, and timely billing from contract start to closeout.
• Billings & Compliance: Prepare, review, and process AIA billing documents (G702/G703), sworn statements, and lien waivers for specialty contracting operations.
• Financial Management & WIP: Maintain Work in Progress (WIP) reports, perform job-cost tracking, monitor change orders, and lead month-end financial reporting and forecasting.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee project AP/AR cycles, vendor payments, retainage tracking, and subcontractor lien release verifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Project Managers, Operations, and Leadership to address budget variances and streamline project financial workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated project accounting experience within the construction or specialty subcontracting sectors.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with industry-standard construction management and accounting software (e.g., Sage 100, Yardi, Procore, or QuickBooks).
• Core Knowledge: Strong expertise in AIA billing, sworn statements, lien waiver processes, job-cost accounting, and WIP analysis.
• Communication: Excellent analytical skills with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
