Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to support the development and delivery of activities and programs for adults aged 50 and over. Programs may occur daytime, on weekends, in evenings, or as seasonal sessions throughout the year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience with adults in recreation/education preferred.
• College coursework in gerontology, recreation management, or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement programs for adults 50+, including fitness and workshops.
• Engage participants professionally to promote independence and social connection.
• Support safety and accessibility in all activities.
• Provide individualized assistance during classes (tech help, health instruction).
• Collaborate with staff to develop engaging programming.
• Assist with setup, space maintenance, and equipment.
• Complete attendance, data entry, and communications with participants and partners.
• Perform other related duties as required.
