As a CSM – CA Senior Programmer, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, implementing change and optimizing processes within a growing tech company.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

This role involves client service delivery for state and Metrc strategies, collaborating with developers, product owners, and data teams to interpret requirements and manage data outputs, visualizations, and operational tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core duties include:

  1. Embodies Metrc’s Leadership Principles
  2. Lead cannabis industry outreach and manage local jurisdictional clients in California
  3. Maintain communication with clients, understanding Metrc systems and regulations
  4. Coordinate with internal departments to meet client requests
  5. Assist with state-specific documentation and processes
  6. Participate as a Metrc subject matter expert at events
  7. Support quality assurance for California’s team
  8. Manage data tools and assets in collaboration with the state technical team
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • At least 18 months experience in a development/configuration environment using agile processes
  • At least 12 months experience managing SaaS-related activities
  • At least 24 months experience with software customizations, updates, or database reports
  • Ability to translate customer needs into data insights
  • Experience analyzing data to meet business and technical requirements
  • Experience delivering mission-critical services
  • Preferred experience with government projects and regulated cannabis industry
  • Open to candidates within California

TRAVEL

This role may require up to 50% travel, including:

  • Events such as User Exchanges
  • On-site client meetings
  • Team meetings at the office
