Job summary

Ellwood is seeking a Programmer Analyst to assist in developing software applications per provided specifications and to support information systems across business units at our New Castle location.

The role requires 3–5 years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong skills in SQL Server, .NET, and Visual Basic. Collaboration with IT staff and end users is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming/CS/IS or equivalent knowledge based on experience.
• 3–5 years' programmer analyst experience in information systems with experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated programming skills with relational databases; SQL Server, Visual Basic, and .Net.

Responsibilities

• Help the Business Units maintain and develop their information systems.
• Collaborate with IT staff and end users to design and implement programming specs.
• Provide Help Desk support for software-related issues and daily problem resolutions.
• Develop new software applications according to specifications provided.
• Support day-to-day operations and ensure on-call readiness when needed.
