Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to support a college on the Ellucian Experience platform. You will modify applications, integrate third-party solutions, and build API-based integrations and portal components within a DevOps environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an applicable field with four years of programming experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and languages (Java, JavaScript, Shell, Perl, Python, HTML).
• Experience with Github or similar source control.
• Experience with Ellucian Experience or similar iPaaS solutions.
• Experience building API-based integrations (Ellucian Ethos) and UI components for vendor portal.
• Familiarity with relational database structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused and able to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Participate in peer code reviews and various testing processes.
• Write robust test plans and provide end-user training.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects.
• Resolve SLAs and engage vendor support as needed.
• Support campus applications as assigned.
• Represent IT professionally in all interactions.
• Other duties as needed.
