Job summary

Cherokee Insights, part of Cherokee Federal, seeks a Senior Program Technician for the MICECP program. The role focuses on career management, HR data input, and development planning for DoD personnel within government policy and regulations.

Requires TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. Salary ranges from $105,000 to $125,000 with full-time benefits including medical, dental, Vision, and 401K. On-site work with strict government access controls.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive administrative experience with military policy knowledge.
• Minimum of three (3) years HR services experience to DoD/Army civilian personnel or active duty.
• Experience in recruitment support, employee relations or personnel action processing.
• Experience in military correspondence, policies or procedures and guidance on format.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Data entry abilities and database management.
• Excellent customer service, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience organizing office files and documentation.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver briefings, strategies, and reports to government POC per MICECP policy.
• Perform HR data input, tracking support, and continuity services per policy.
• Review and analyze MICECP employees' careers and development data.
• Identify competencies and development assignments to meet key positions.
• Coordinate with Career Program Manager to align assignments and training.
• Maintain MICECP career management database and related docs.
• Create 100% up-to-date Civilian Personnel Records Briefs.
• Input data to MICECP system of record and keep it current.
• Prepare and provide draft Individualized Career Development plans.
• Ensure IDPs are updated and coordinated with MICECP managers.
• Draft and coordinate TDA actions with AFSC staff and update records.
• Draft memorandums, reports, and AR 25-50 compliant correspondence.
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by Career Program Manager.
• Plan and coordinate High Grade boards and associated processes.
• Review High Grade applications within two duty days of receipt.
• Advise applicants on High Grade processes per policy.
• Assemble and maintain High Grade applicant packets.
• Manage access to HireVue vacancy links and announcements.
• Work with HR to move High Grade hires through staffing/onboarding.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
