The role blends remote leadership with field travel, requiring up to 75% travel to project sites and meetings.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization at the forefront of the mission-critical construction sector to identify an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across the United States.


This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role responsible for overseeing multiple data center construction programs, managing key stakeholder relationships, and supporting business growth initiatives within existing construction accounts.


The position offers a unique blend of remote working and field leadership, with travel to project sites, client meetings, and key program locations expected throughout the week. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving complex project challenges, and driving large-scale mission-critical construction programs from inception through completion.


Responsibilities


  • Lead multiple data center construction programs across various locations throughout the United States.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for owners, developers, contractors, and executive stakeholders.

  • Oversee project delivery from planning and preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and overall program performance.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including construction, design, commissioning, and operational stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional project execution.

  • Identify opportunities to expand and grow existing client accounts through outstanding service delivery and strategic partnership development.

  • Drive consistency and reporting standards across multiple project locations.

  • Travel extensively to project sites, client offices, and key stakeholder meetings as required.

  • Support business development efforts through client engagement, market intelligence, and account management activities.

  • Provide executive-level project reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership teams.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred.

  • 10+ years of construction project management or program management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale data center construction projects

  • Strong understanding of mission-critical construction, MEP systems, commissioning processes, and project delivery methodologies.

  • Proven track record managing complex programs across multiple sites simultaneously.

  • Exceptional client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience expanding existing construction accounts and developing long-term client relationships.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing large project budgets.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% throughout the United States.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working effectively within a hybrid and remote environment.
