Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Senior Program Manager, Technology & Ecosystems to advance ecosystem relationships, shaping the technology roadmap and aligning partners across the AI and data center value chain.

You will turn relationships into products, joint programs, and new business opportunities. You will collaborate with Thermal Engineering and Portfolio teams on product development, pilots, and market insights, and represent JCI at industry forums and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 5–6 years of experience in technology partnerships, program management, business development, or sales/solutions engineering.
• Prior experience working with OEMs, chip makers, and vendors.
• Experience with single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling, chip-to-chiller (IT/OT) controls, and autonomous AI controls.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills across technical and executive audiences; ability to work across teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic technology and ecosystem roadmap aligned to JCI priorities and partner directions.
• Expand strategic relationships across the ecosystem with clear objectives and next actions.
• Engage OEMs, chip makers, and vendors on technical alignment, certification, and go-to-market.
• Collaborate with Thermal Engineering and Portfolio teams on product development, NPI, market research, and POVs.
• Drive joint research, pilots, reference architectures, and demonstrations with universities and national labs.
• Turn partner and market insights into input for technology and product strategy and represent JCI at partner meetings and conferences.
• Protect JCI's roadmap and IP in external engagements, coordinating with Legal on NDAs.
