Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Program Manager to act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving priorities and ensuring execution across the organization. This remote role within the continental United States supports executive decision-making, coordinates initiatives, and maintains operating rhythm with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business/healthcare administration or related field, 5+ years in project implementation or program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years project implementation, product or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service levels and ensure regulatory compliance through enhanced operations.
• Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities and align priorities and resources.
• Manage multiple projects through full life cycle: requirements, plans, resources, budgets, execution, closure.
• Use project management tools and techniques to manage projects effectively.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including action items, issues, and risk plans.
• Provide leadership and communicate project status to stakeholders with executive summaries and presentations.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholders’ expectations and company objectives.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge regarding program requirements and operations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
